This is a simple structure with noteworthy interior adornments.  Within the Church, on the Icon-screen, we observe the four Main Icons of excellent post-Byzantine art. Furthermore, the “Milk-Nourisher” and St Paraskevi are two further icons worthy of notice. The Bell-tower over the entrance to the courtyard, with its two ‘lobes’, is of some interest. In the courtyard of the Church we find the grave of the last bishop of Ithaca, the ever-memorable Gabriel Karavias.
